Brain Injury Care

We provide nurse-led home care rehabilitation for people living with an acquired brain injury.

What is an acquired brain injury?

An acquired brain injury, sometimes called an ABI, refers to any traumatic and non-traumatic brain damage that a person experiences after birth. This could be from a fall, accident or stroke, amongst many other possible causes.

Acquired brain injuries, as they are not hereditary or congenital, can happen to anyone. The effects of them vary from person to person, but often impact speech and movement, as well as a personโ€™s emotions and behaviours.
